How to clean tub jets
To clean the jets themselves, Thiago de Souza, operations assistant at Jill’s Cleaning – Maids At Your Service in Natick, Massachusetts, says to fill the tub with warm water and add a drop of dishwasher detergent. “Then just run the jets for a bit,” he says.
To best clean the actual bathtub and the exposed part of the jets, you can use Scrubbing Bubbles and a Magic Eraser. Spray all surfaces, then wait a few minutes before gently wiping all surfaces — including the jets — with the Magic Eraser. Then rinse everything clean. You can also use an old toothbrush to scrub the jets and remove any stubborn buildup.
